Date: Piarom

Dates have been known for their great health benefits and rich nutritional contents such as vitamins and minerals from a very long time ago. Dates are also a good source of energy, sugar, and fiber. Varieties of dates are cultivated in Iran, but few of them are commercially important and are exported to other countries. One of the dates exported from Iran is Piarom, a large, black-brown, thin skin date that is considered the most delicious of all semi-dry varieties.

Description:

Color: black to brown
Moisture: semi-dry, 14%-16%
Smell: Naturally date’s aroma without foreign odor
Taste: sweet taste without any foreign taste
Size (with bone):
   Large: 3.5-5 cm, 95-115 pcs/kg
   Medium: 3-4 cm, 115-135 pcs/kg
   Small: 2.7-3.5 cm, more than 135-150 pcs/kg
Size (pitted): varies based on the crop year
   Select A: 105-125 pcs / kg
   Select B: 125-140 pcs / kg
Harvest time: October
Chemical Additives: No chemical additives, GMO-free, gluten-free
Storage conditions: 24 months, keep in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight
